Wow.

Things have been extremely busy lately. I have a few garden pictures, a few engagement party pictures, and some things to write up, but the write-ups will wait. For now, pictures. Sorry about the many sideways ones. I thought there would be a way to rotate them in blogger, but there’s not. :\

Music
I love finding new bands to listen to. Lately, I seem to be getting a lot of music from NPR (Mashrou3 Leila, Soapkills, Esma Redzepova, et al.).

Today, I stumbled across a music suggestion webpage. This is great for me. I’ve used Pandora for about…5 years now, and I’ve been using Songza since it first came out, but those choose the bands and you don’t get to see them until the song is playing. While I love both websites and both have their merits—Songzasets.com is particularly awesome—, this new site (seen below) will be even better for me, and I think you’ll like it too.

Contracts and Departures

The past two weeks have just been crazy.

I’m excited, though.

This Friday, my family is throwing me an engagement and going-away party.

I’m leaving towards the end of September for Shizuoka, Japan.

I’m very excited about all of the new things in my life. I think I’ll probably begin a master’s program (online) during this next year. Check regularly for updates, or you can subscribe through Google Follow or my RSS feed.
