HRC - Human Rights Campaign
One thing that is very close to my heart is the Human Rights Campaign. Millions of Americans, and millions upon millions more worldwide, have be the object of oppression. The HRC is an advocacy group focusing on the rights of the LGBTQIQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Questioning) community. Prejudices, abuse, and violations of civil rights occur from early childhood...
Waiting
Well, I was supposed to begin work on 1 October. So far, I still don’t have my VISA. I’m still waiting. Not knowing when I’ll be called to leave is nerve wrecking. I’ve been keeping myself busy with projects and building things and lots of cooking, but it’s very stressful just waiting. I’ll update again whenever I finally hear something.
